Jemele Hill is the ESPN anchor who took to her Twitter page to voice her opinions on Donald Trump and called him a “white supremacist”.  She was later suspended from ESPN on Oct. 9 for her tweets.

Apparently, ESPN did not agree with Hill’s opinions and it was said that she “violated social media guidelines”. After getting wind of ESPN having an issue with Hill voicing her opinion, many rallied up via social media in her defense.

However, Hill will be returning to her job soon and says she “deserved the suspension”. According to reports, Hill has expressed that she will not take back what she said, but  she is apologetic for putting ESPN in an awkward situation.

“The only thing I’ll ever apologize for is, I put ESPN in a bad spot. I’ll never take back what I said. I put them in a bad spot, and that’s the truth of it. I regret the position I put them in. I regret, a lot of the people I work with, the position we put our show in. I’ll never take back what I said. So you can take that to mean what it means”, she told a reporter for TMZ Sports.
