Comedian And Actor Ricky Harris Has Died At 54

(via youtube)

2016 has been the year we lost a lot of legends. Comedian and actor Ricky Harris has been added to that list. His death was confirmed on Monday by family friends via social media. Apparently, he died from a heart attack.

Harris was definitely a legend within the industry in his own right. His voice was used on a few of Snoop Dogg’s album skits back in the day. He’s appeared on Def Comedy Jam, and he had some pretty cool roles in tv and film as well. You may remember him from Poetic Justice, Moesha, Everybody Hates Chris, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, and from various other roles.

Ricky Harris may not have been in every headline, but it seems he definitely made a big impact on everyone he came in contact with. He’s being shown so much love by his peers in the industry as they reminisce on the times they shared together. Its unfortunate we had to lose another one but let’s use this time to pay our respects with the memories he’s left behind in the form of comedic skits and memorable character roles.

Rest in paradise Ricky.
