Okay, we know the NBA Finals are happening right now, but Marvel’s Black Panther trailer is here. We got a glimpse of Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War, and now he’s back with the Black Panther movie.

Directed by Oakland native Ryan Coogler, who was also the director and writer for Fruitvale Station and Creed, Black Panther is the first Marvel movie that isn’t completely washed with the white part of America.

With Black Panther, we get to witness the first solo black superhero movie presented by Marvel. We also get to witness Boseman’s acting skills, which are pretty good by the way. Boseman as T’Challa, king of the African Nation Wakanda who doubles as Black Panther is pretty epic. It’s almost like the role was made specifically for him.

Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong’o, and Michael B. Jordan also have starring roles in the film. The trailer alone will have you at the end of your seat, but unfortunately, we still have some time to wait before the movie hits theaters. Black Panther won’t be released until February of 2018.
