Masonia Traylor. She isn’t a celebrity and she’s definitely not “doing it for the gram”. She’s a mother, speaker, community advocate, and she’s positive.

Masonia has dedicated her life to raising awareness when it comes to HIV/AIDS.

Through her nonprofit organization Lady BurgAndy, she continues to show up and put in the necessary work to empower and inspire those directly and indirectly impacted by the virus.

Being diagnosed at the young age of 23 as HIV positive, she didn’t allow the virus to take her life away from her. Instead, Masonia has given herself more life, and designed a platform where she can share her story and use her voice to help others reclaim their lives as well.

For AIDS Walk 2017, she is raising awareness and funds, and she needs our support!

“AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run is the Southeast’s largest community fundraiser and awareness event for HIV/AIDS, benefiting AID Atlanta & 7 other Participating Organizations. Over its history, more than 300,000 people have participated in AWA5K, raising $40M for HIV/AIDS prevention and care, saving countless lives and improving the wellbeing of thousands still living with HIV/AIDS today”. -aidatl.com
